Cora Li-Leger is an artist and registered art therapist, who lives and practices in the Vancouver Lower Mainland.

Having formally studied drawing and painting at the University of Minnesota and at the Banff Centre, Cora employs paints, pastels, and collage mediums in image-making.  She has exhibited in both private and public galleries, and her work can be found in Canadian private and corporate collections.

After working for over 20 years as a practicing artist, Cora became interested in pursuing the discipline of art therapy, which opened the door to connecting and working with people from many walks of life.  After graduate studies at the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute, she continued training in the expressive therapies with Marie Jose Dhaese.  Concurrently, Cora became involved in the study and practice of Buddhism, which continues to provide a strong philosophical framework guiding her practice.

With the strong belief that each person has the capacity for knowing ‘beyond language and logic’, Cora is deeply committed to the practice of image-making and creative expression to further personal growth, understanding, and insight.
